Yana Medow
Yana Medow is a nomadic contemporary artist who lives and works in Madrid, Spain. She graduated from the Academy of Applied Arts named after V. Mukhina of Saint Petersburg, and specialized as a Painting Restorer. She worked as a restorer, later as a graphic designer, and illustrator. In 2017, she decided to pursue a full-time career as an artist. Medow describes her art as a “pleasant immersion into a utopian world of innocence and carefreeness, which is so easily lost in everyday life... [and she creates] a world where playful carefree characters entwine you in the dance of enchantment of innocence and tenderness, allowing you to recall joy as in childhood.” She has participated in numerous exhibitions in the US, Spain, France, China, and more.
